Jibari Daniels was born in Jersey, blending his father’s Garden State roots with his mother’s Queens, New York heritage. His family spans New York City, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, embodying the deep Hip Hop culture of the tri-state area. For Jibari, Hip Hop is more than music—it’s his guiding force, woven into every part of his life.

Growing up surrounded by abandoned buildings and graffiti murals, he saw beauty where others saw ruin. Inspired by artists in his community, Jibari pursued graffiti but quickly realized society viewed it as vandalism. His mother introduced him to other art forms, leading to a scholarship to study art in college, where he discovered the power of Hip Hop beyond music.

With over 20 years of experience working with fortune 100 companies and top design agencies, Jibari never lost his passion for Hip Hop. Witnessing gentrification and the decline of art programs, he knew he had to create a space for creatives to preserve Hip Hop’s core. He envisions building schools for the performing arts, hotels, restaurants, and clothing lines—all dedicated to promoting Hip Hop culture.

In 2024, Jibari launched the Riddim And Poetry Hip Hop Experience, a brand committed to preserving Hip Hop’s true essence through the arts. The brand integrates apparel, restaurants, events, and hotels, all celebrating Hip Hop’s soul, culture, and excellence.

At the heart of the Riddim And Poetry Hip Hop Experience is an event designed to uplift and preserve the performing arts. It features interactive exhibits, engaging classes, insightful panels, and networking opportunities. Born from the resilience of youth after art programs were cut, this event keeps Hip Hop alive with a traveling showcase of creativity. It’s expanding into a three-day experience filled with panels, performances, and hands-on activities across cities nationwide. The ultimate goal is to establish the Riddim And Poetry Performing School of the Arts, nurturing the next generation of talent. These family-friendly events are a must-attend, and your participation will help shape future experiences as we inspire the next wave of creatives.
